Construction of the 184,000-square-foot Wal-Mart Supercenter on Alice Street is scheduled to begin June 15. (...) People who regularly traverse the roads around the 40-acre Wal-Mart Shopping Center site have seen major changes take place on the corner of Highway 27 and Alice Street. (...) The whole top of the hill where the Trinity Baptist Church once sat is being lowered eight feet by Oxford Construction Company to fit in with Wal-Mart’s design for its 183,885-square-foot Supercenter.
It's mind-boggling to think about what it will look like, in one or two years' time.
